Andrew grew up in the Sugarhouse neighborhood of Salt Lake City, as one of five children of Ken and Linda Luker. He has always been around great classical music, as at an early age he enjoyed listening to his father’s large library of classical LPs played on the family record player. He started playing piano at an early age, then baritone, and finally flute in elementary through high school. He later participated with several choirs including SLCC Singers and America West Chorus under Lyle Archibald. He met his wife Andrea who was also a member of the SLCC singers, and they were married in 1997.
Andrew first started singing with Utah Chamber Artists in 2006, and was thrilled to travel with UCA to Wales, England and France in 2008, and loved playing a part in creating the amazing sound the choir made in the historic cathedrals they sang in. Andrew graduated in 2004 from Weber State in Computer Science, and now works as an IT Administrator for a local health insurance company. Andrew lives in Sandy with his wife and their 5 wonderful children – Sophia, Eliza, Jacob, Matthew and Aaron who cheer Andrew on, and keep him smiling
